TKAM Photo Analysis
Image Name and Photographer Could Not Be Found |
Observations:
The houses in the are seem to be of average size, nothing too big, yet not too small. It seems to me that the houses do not belong to people with a large sum of money, but too a person of the middle class. The road in the are is on a downhill slope and seems to be made of flattened dirt and stone. The houses also seem to have what seem to be forests behind them.
Inferences:
The people, judging by the maintenance and size of the house, are not impeccably rich. They are more than likely of the middle class with a steady income. The dirt road may be a sign that despite not being in poverty do not have money for a perfectly paved road.
Questions:
-What did the image mean to the the photographer?
-What type of people lived in the area?
-What was the fence intended to block?
-What type of plants, and animals could be found what seems to be surrounding forests?
-What did the signs in the image state?
The Next Maycomb County?
After analyzing the photo I feel that it is possible for the picture to be Maycomb County. I feel that several events from the book such as the wheel that Scout rolled down are possible. Along with this as seen in the vehicle there are vehicles, in the story there is a mentioning of Atticus's car. The scenery in the image includes groves of forests, which are also mentioned in the book, are placed near the houses.
The houses are also located near one another, which is something that I imagine when describing Maycomb County.
