Read: 0-Finished

This summer I decided to work on reading the Harry Potter books, since I have not yet finished them all, meaning I would be reading the Goblet of Fire. Which in my opinion is the best of the series. Since a very young age I enjoyed the movies, yet I never read all the books. Despite the fact I never read them I strongly enjoyed the movies. The case with movies based on books is that the books are more than usually much better than the movies. This then gave me the motivation to read the series, which despite my attempts, I was never given the time to read all at once. The fact that I have been able to finally read the book that held the plot to my favorite movie from the Harry Potter series leaves me ecstatic. I must also add on the fact that, without a doubt, J.K. Rowling is one of the most inspirational writers in existence. Rowling has this impeccable way of being able to add humor to some of the most darkest of themes that are involved with the story.

I believe that my favorite quote from the story must be, "Remember, if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort. Remember Cedric Diggory.” I feel that it is the fact of how emotional I feel the quote is. Reading about Cedric's death at the hands of Lord Voldemort is in my opinion akin to hearing about the death of a person who stood for themselves. A person who stood up and spoke against the wrong. That's exactly what happened. In every way imaginable Cedric contrasted Voldemort. Cedric was kind, brave, and wonderful person who did not deserve to die, but yet he did. He was at the wrong place at the wrong time. How many times a year do we hear of children dying at the hands of violence. Currently in Israel and Gaza innocent lives are being taken after a series of bombings. (Gaza had bombed Israel for several weeks but now Israel retaliated. Gaza has not been able to efficiently defend themselves.) Children should be worrying about whether or not the weather will permit them to play outside. Children should be worrying about what type of dessert they'll have after dinner. Children should not have to worry about the feuds between countries. Children who should not feel threatened and unsafe in their homes at the risk of more explosions. Children shouldn't have to worry about the mercilessness of other people.

Without a doubt the title, Harry Potter:The Goblet of Fire, perfectly fits the book. Reason being that the book is most about the Goblet of Fire. It may seem pretty self explanatory but you don't actually understand that until you read the book or watch the movie. The Goblet in my opinion, though it may just be my overthinking self, symbolizes a few elements that are very important to the plot. This means that without a doubt, in my opinion, Harry Potter: The Goblet of Fire, is a completely adequate title for the story.
