"The Life of a Performer" Found Poetry

"The Life of a Performer" poem tries to encompass the feeling of being a performer. When a performer is on stage you mainly focus on the lights around them and the emotions they might be feeling. In my poem the performer is nervous due to the words in her head, yet she also experiences and unexpected joy. Not many people understand that being famous or a performer has both its up and downs, not just one of the two.

"Precious words running 

through her mind

the scene of the lights

and an unexpected feeling of joy"
