The Lady Or The Tiger Creative Writing
Without the slightest hesitation, he went to the door on the right, and opened it. Upon the opening of the door their was an audible gasp throughout the crowd. Nobody had imagined the possibilites of what could be behind the door, besides either the lion and the lady of course. But now, neither of the seemed to be behind the door. For the room that was to decide the fate of the young man was empty. A cry of outrage now filled the arena, several people had taken the day off of their duties to be entertained by the outcome of the boy's life. The youth was aware of this, as he looked up to the face of the scrutinizing king, who also seemed to be perplexed, he realized he was to open the second door. Hoping for the same luck, he opened the next door, yet again there was nothing. The king masked his face of perplexity with one of jubilance. He stood from his seat and applauded the youth, one by one others in the crowd stood up. The young man was declared innocent. Throughout the whole time the princess sat in her spot unfazed by what had happened, of course she had planned it, her lover would be safe. The princess would rather have her lover find another then to witness his death or watching him marry the woman she despised the most in life. After all, she knew her father would not allow them to be together. Aside from this she preferred that he find love in another then to witness his horrid death or see him marry the woman she despised most in the world. The youth was to never find out of her plans, for he would seek to repay her. Now you may say, why can't they see each other any longer? The thing is fate plays life in a special life, once you believe everything is under control, it will slip from right under you. Leaving you on the floor ashamed of your foolish actions. As time later on passed they both parted separate ways, never to see each other again. You may call this a travesty, but the former lovers saw it as a new chance to find others, and a much happier life.
